Setup: The table showed a rural village. Both warbands need to go into the buildings and interogate (Quality test) and/or torture (combat test) the occupants for information. The warband with the most information wins the scenario.

The Barbarians approached from the East, with the dwarves on the opposing side of the table.

The Dwarves quickly made ground into the hamlet, with Valgen going into the nearest cottage.

The Barbarians came into the other side, most the warriors moving towards the dwarven forces and Ardaric making his way to a dwelling.

The magical storm is really causing Ooko some summoning problems and he struggles to bring forth an Elemental. Ardaric enters a cottage, intent on finding out some information. Meanwhile the dwarves continue towards their enemy. Valgen manages to roll 2 fails and gains no information by questioning. He must decide if torture is a tactic he can use.

Rudi and Cohan's advances are met with an advancing dwarven wall. Cerri Crackshot looses a bolt at Cohan, knocking the old man to the ground. Meanwhile Ardaric cannot convince the cottage inhabitants to tell him anything.

The battle lines start to be drawn. Valgen decides that torture is not  for Good Dwarves such as himself and leaves the building to support his blood thirsty warriors. A wall of Dwarven muscle, 2 deep has assembled. Ooko finally manages to conjure a Fire Elemental and a thin looking Barbarian line forms at a bottleneck as Rudi and Cohan manage to scramble back.

The Fire Elemental comes forward. Cerri comes out, shoots but misses. The Fire elemental charges the crossbowman with a roar, but instead of spitting a fireball from range goes straight to hand-to-hand. Cerri stands firm and knocks the fire to the ground. Erwig then shoots an arrow at Cerri but misses. Things are going just as well for the Barbarian leader. The local farmers are obviously from a tough stock and resist his torture techniques.

Manon Hardfoot breaks from the dwarven ranks to attack the Fire Elemental and slays it with ease. This lets Cerri fire into the group of Barbarian onlookers and knocks down Rodulf Wolfhowl.

Ardaric hears the calls and cries from outside and exits the building to support his warriors. With his commander over his shoulder Erwig takes careful aim at the victorious Manon and take him out of the battle, whilst Rodulf manages to regain his feet to complete the Barbarian line again. Ooko moves up, hoping to bring his Elementals in closer to the action, but his spell casting is again thwarted by the magical storm raging overhead.

Cerri fires another bolt at Rodulf and knocks him back down. The Dwarven line then charges! Hono Pickbattler charges the downed Rodulf and dispatches him. Rod Grimiron charges Ramos but is knocked down himself. Snowbeard charges his aged counterpart, but the combat results in a stalemate.

Meanwhile the forgotten duo of Slii and Odel make their way forward away from the hubbub.

Ramos manages to regain his feet and get an attack in at the Dwarf lying at his feet - Rod is dead. Erwig attempts to clear some space in the line by firing at Hono, but misses. With a gap appearing in the Barbarian line Ooko finally manages to work past the magical storm and a fire elemental appears to plug the gap. Cohan makes a return attack on Snowbeard but just knocks him back. Cerri moves forward and takes a shot at Ramos, resulting in the barbarian being pushed back. But next the dwarven dice roll a turnover and the impetus is lost.

Time is now running out. Erwig takes a shot at Snowbeard and pushes him back further. The Fire Elemental spits a fireball at Hono knocking him back a step as well. This gives Ooko room to summon anther Fire elemental to pop up in front of the dwarves as a protective firewall before the Dwarves counter. Snowbeard obliges and attacks the newly sparked fiery beast, knocking it to the ground. Hono rolls a turnover, but has just enough in him to extinguish the fire.

And the sands of the battle timer run out.

Battle Outcome: No information was gathered at all, so a DRAW
