Judge Dredd Campaign #1.3 - Warehouse Raid

Out in the waste area of Megacity One the Fatties Gang had set up warehouse for overly sweet snacks. The Judges weren't having any of it!

[Editorial note: this write up was many (many) months after the tabletop action occured and is thus a bit vague, but it would be a shame not to document it in some capacity]

Now that the Campaign has reached the middle phase the tabled Rep is 50 each.

The table was set with a chain link fence across the centre, with the factory base on one side and rough wasteland on the other. Unbeknown to the the gangers there are a couple of sections where the fence can be scaled to get in, as well as the obvious front gate! There are a number of Candy packages (gems) on the grounds that must be stopped from leaving the area.

The gangers are found at the start moving in random directions until they spot any intruders.

The Judges use cover to sneak up through the waste area. Street Judge and Rookie break to the right of the gate.

And over on the left flank a possible incursion point is spotted. No-ne had been spotted yet...

Now into the compound, the rookie Judge Radacanu drops down behind the cover of a bin with one of the crucial prize packages in sight.

Offering cover, Judge Watson lays down some gas to knock out a group of Juve gangers..

But the Rookie has been spotted. The ganger quickly injects some stims and charges forward. Suped up on chems he has no problem completely taking the young Judge out.

On the other side of the copmpound the duo of Judges are discovered by a major Fatty who uses his advantage of surprise and takes out one of his Judge Evans with full force before he can act.

The Fatty then goes crazy and charges the remaining Judge with his full flab, but the academy honed reactions lets Judge Norrie side step out of the way

and he blasts the perp. The delay though is costing the mission dearly, as a ganger is making off with some sweet contraband.

And with some Juves joining the more senior ganger as cover he makes his escape with one of the highly desired packages.

Meanwhile, back on the right flank, the stimmed up ganger clambers onto the hut roof to take on the Judge Watson in hand-to-hand. This lets another senior Fatty lumber over and grab a loot bag to try and escape.

There's an unclaimed stash waiting for someone on the left, and a group of Juves attempt to improve their street cred and move in. But an explosive Lawgiver shot from the window puts an end to their plans.

But leaning out of the windows for that shot leaves Judge Norrie exposed, and an expert sniper shot across the compound takes him out of action.

And with the Law Enforcment numbers down to an absolute thread, the gangers have the time to scarper with the sweet, sweet taste of success at their fingertips!
