After all those WWII planes I decided to paint a solo fantasy figure before embarking on my next painting project.
Advanced Song of Blades and Heroes is starting to get a few games now so I thought I'd give my Ratmen warband a bit more Ooomph with this GW Bloodbowl Rat Ogre. He has been sitting in the pile for a few years now after an Ebay purchase. The seller obviously had plans to customise it then not gone through with the idea, so he came minus his left arm but with the claw to be attached (the miniature that is, not the seller). Ideal from my point of view. He can slot into either my ratman warband or my growing mutant warband.
Provisional SoBH Profile:
- Rat Ogre (54pts): Q4+, C4; Big, Gregarious, Long Move
Claw detail, Inks over Miniature Paints "Pale Flesh".
only need 10 more players for a blood bowl team :P
ReplyDeleteHa, ha. HaloStar would agree (he's in the Glasgow Bloodbowl League). Afraid I sold my 2nd ed Skaven team a few years ago.
DeleteYou now have a mini worth about £20...
DeleteWhat a fearsome beastie!
ReplyDeleteThanks, Gordon. In my mind I'm hearing that in the "traditional" dwarven scottish brogue of MacSvers dwarves. :)
DeleteWhat a bloody good figure. I tried for months to make a Rat Ogre. I failed. You didn't, well done.
ReplyDeleteCheers, Irqan. Worry not though, I had this in unpaintef bits for a few years, so you're still months ahead of me yet!
