Lord Curr's mob appeared from behind a tower.

Wary even at this early stage of the long range of some of the weapons in Lord Curr's arsenal Victoria sent her company over the walls.

Lord Curr's charges surged forward, with Mohan Singh standing covering the entrance to the square.

Almost to prove Victoria's fears, Mohan Singh opened the firing, immediately taking out the standing courier.

Colonel Burn then zoomed in on his Electric Wheelchair to cover the area with his Congreve Rocket gun.

Victoria gathered her troops together behind the high wall as the enemy entered the square in more numbers.

An Incorrigible made it to the fallen Courier as the Guardsmen surged over the wall. Shots started to fly in all directions, but no telling hits found home. A Guardsman rushed in to engage Col. Burn before he could bring his rocket to the fore.

The Colonel struck first, however, and felled his furry hatted opponent.

With their prize attained, the Incorrigibles fell back. Captain Paton of The Guards rushed into try and tackle a covering foe, whilst Lord Curr loosed his hound, Dakota, to deal with a Guard who was attempting to take careful aim at the retreating party.

Victoria move in to help one of her Guards deal with the sharp fangs of Lord Curr's pet.

As the Courier was dragged away the Chatter of Moham Singh's machine gun sounded out and claimed a Guardsman.

Meanwhile the hand-to-hand contest with Captain Paton was still at  a Stalemate.

In the other corner of the area the was a result, and with a howl and whimper Dakota slumped to the ground.

All this was as a distraction though, as the main objective of the day, the Courier, was away into the clutches of Lord Curr. Victoria called her remaining troops in and retreated to await Lord Curr to play out the next part of plan.

Battle Outcome: A Win for Lord Curr.

    1. I was a nice table MacSver put up. The extra side scenery that never came into play helps add a bit of depth to the scene I feel. Using a bit of scenery "off table" for visual effect may be something I'll try in the future.
