With last year's lack of posts a change I'd tack is required. So instead of battle reports of yesteryear I'll be trying to at least get some photos up!
So today (no, really!) MacSver was down for a game of Advanced Song of Blades and Heroes.
At the start of the year I'd made a challenge to my opponent to use some of his painted Warhammer Empire army for a new warband. Being a contrary bugger he turned up with a completely different motley crew.
I had some new recruits for my Barbarians to blood (another feature post). We played a scenario where the main aim was to kill the two big chaotic beasts.
Highlights of the game : My new magic user killing a chaos beast with his first lightning bolt; MacSver's new love of casting walls; and the rookie berserker barbarian halfling failing to kill a rat abomination when only needing to roll a 2 or more.
Gaming on a weekday afternoon.... my idea of heaven.....well not quite but still very nice
