Things are on a go slow here at the moment so it almost seems fitting that my semi-regular WIP update post is a day late. The introduction of a pair of cats (sisters) to the household has knocked out our schedules for the last couple of weeks. Leaving partially completed painted figures with paints out on the table for a few days would now seem to be a thing of the past!
On the upside it means I have two projects I'm working on at the moment (as one is shed based)
Firstly I am about halfway through painting the 3 characters for my "In Her Majesty's Name" Servants of Ra company.
The second is a terrain project - a steam powered sawmill primarily for Dead Man's Hand but obviously good for other periods
I suppose this post wouldn't be complete without this picture!:

Frostgrave Paper Scenery
Just a quick heads up to some FREE stuff. Osprey have just put up a trio of basic terrain pieces for Frostgrave (or any other game for that matter!) Available HERE (right down at the bottom of the page)
A 2 storey ruin and a couple of low level ones. They have a nice "old school" feel to the graphics (and are double sided - I've just put the single side by example). I think I'll try and get them constructed this week for interest.

Frostgrave - Watch out for the Genie!
Another game of Frostgrave. This time with the Genie scenario from the main rulebook, where there is the threat of an angry Genie appearing when a treasure is claimed. We also implemented for the first time the random encounters rule to hopefully add in some more random threat.

Cultists!
Phase 1 on the new project is complete: the Cultists for the "In Her Majesty's Name" Servants of Ra company.
For my own future reference (so feel free to ignore) the cloaks were
- Miniature Paints "Plum"
- Sepia wash
- Citadel "Blood Gore" highlight
- GW "Baal Red" Wash
I have the remaining 3 "living" characters undercoated now for starting. The mummy that comes with the box set will be done along with some other mummy figures I have at the end. This will get me up and playing with the out-the-book stats. The extra reserve figures will be done last.

Tribble\Gremlin Kit Review
A great video review (as ever) from Gary @ makingmodelsagain. Looks like a interesting wee distraction project. The conversion kit may be beyond my scale modelling abilities mind you.
