Earlier in the year I had realised that I was very unhappy with my terrain options for "In Her Majesty's Name" games. They all seemed to be in the woods with maybe a single house or ruin. So I decided to make some Victorian Sci-Fi style buildings (I'm not a fan of the "Steampunk" label!).
I've been working on these for a while now (the final building featuring in a couple of WIP Wednesday posts).
First up is Dave Graffam's Inventors House. This is actually listed as a fantasy building, but with the added on levels at the top (and especially if you add the free observatory model which I can't seem to construct!) it easily can be thought of as the old English House of an eccentric inventor. It's a great piece and fun to build.
Steampunk Building #1. It is a basic building shape, but I love the red brick and brass support colours together as well as the window styling. I originally was a bit unsure about the cogs and workings round the side, but once built they do indeed add to the theme.
Ravenfell Steam Items" set by Fat Dragon Games.
I've a couple of other models to play around with to add to the buildings, but I'm now getting to the stage where I can set up a table without any tree fillers if I fancy.
