So you can imagine my geek-like excitement whilst browsing my local B&M Homeware ( a UK discount homeware chain) these garden ornaments.
They stand at around 9.5 inches tall, made of a light resin, are fully painted as seen and cost the princely sum of £3.99. I bought both the 2 slightly different models as a test, but I think I'll have to go back and get a couple more. Just the job for a Fungal Forrest!
They look amazing dude! The price is great too. A frugal fungal forest.
ReplyDeleteWe do love a bit of frugality here, Bob - even if it is to slightly offset the impulse buys!!
Deletefunny and perfect for the game !
ReplyDeleteShould be great for adding some dramatic height to the table.
DeleteBrilliant. Perfect for Journey to the Centre of the Earth or Hollow Earth type adventures. And there's a B&M not more than 5 mins away from me!
ReplyDeleteThat's a great idea as well, Gordon. I can easily see an IHMN scenario now...
DeleteBrilliant. Light resin, you say. So you could probably glue a couple of pre-cast doors and windows onto those things in your chosen scale and make a whole dang village of them, eh?
ReplyDeleteI'm sure one could, if one wanted to. :) You'd also have to build some steps up to the hypothetical door, as the ground edges are a bit shear faced.
DeleteThese look great. I'm going to have to try and nab a couple for my relics games.
ReplyDeleteYou know it makes sense :)
