Judge Dredd Campaign #1.4 - Awaiting Pickup

Limping away from the Warehouse debacle the Judge's are forced to hold out until a Pat Wagon can arrive and pick them up.  Three of the 4 are carrying over wounds from the Warehouse Raid. The Fatties Gang weren't finished with them yet though...

With the Judges holed up the gangers havedirectly approach from cover whilst the rest flank down the road.

Judge Norrie, the only Judge not carrying a wound, Moves out the kitchen door behind the cover of the bins, with Rookie Radacanu in support, to try and get a better firing position as Judges Evans and Watson start to board up the windows.

The rushing ganger takes on Norrie and they exchange blows

Whilst the rest of the corpulant gangers "sprint" down the road.

Radacanu charges out of the buildingand takes out the ganger distracting Judge Norrie

This allows Norrie to fire off a Hi-Ex round that approaching group, causing  some injuries.

But the gangers have numbers and know how to use them. A grenade is thrown and takes out one Judge

and another ganger steps out of cover to take out a second!

The other Fatties progress is halted briefly as they take some shrapnel damage from a stray round setting off the fuel in a wrecked vehicle

The group of Juves, gaving romped down the road, rush up to the edge of the house under the cover of the boarded up windows.

The gangers get a bit too complacent stalking down the two remaining injured Judges, and one goes down from a Helluva Shot from Judge Evans.

But as soon as one goes down another steps up to the window and wings the already injured Judge.

The Pat Wagon extraction must be here soon, but the wolves are circling...

and another Judge goes down.

Only Judge Watson is left. All she can do is cover the door and wait, Heavy footsteps are at the door. She carefully takes aim in anticiaption...

But the door never opens any further. The sound of hover jets can be heard outside accompanied by flashing lights. The extraction has arrived just in the nick of time.

    1. Ta, Tom. It was. The injured Judges really gave the game a tense "when not if" feeling.
